TRIBE TIME

Seeing the need for a “Big Brother, Big Sister” type of ministry for our students, we formed a team to foster personal, spiritual, emotional, and physical growth through food, fun, and mentoring. One day a week, third through fifth graders stay after school and are bussed to a nearby church. Here they meet with high school students and receive help with homework, have a delicious meal, devotions, lots of games in the gym, and enrichment activities. Special bonds are created and they leave knowing they are loved and important! We are seeking other partners in the community who are called to participate.

BIBLE 2 SCHOOL

Bible 2 School is a non-profit, non-denominational organization that teaches Biblical truths to children, grades 2-4.

They are bussed during their lunch hours to a nearby location where the children have enjoyed Bible lessons, crafts, plays, and lively praise and worship. The students have walked into the school with songs on their lips and God’s promises rooted in their hearts.

THOU ART CREATION

Thou Art was started to show how God can use broken things to make beauty in this world and as a way to provide a “Common Ground” for creative people in the area. Thou Art is a division of Common Grounds that hosts art events in a nonintimidating environment. Taught by a certified art educator, we hope to bring unique but affordable art classes in combination with Christian fellowship.
